Who can use TappyQR?

Our contactless menu solution is for Restaurants, Hotels, Bars, Cafes, Clubs, Online shops. Any business that wants to have a digital catalog or online shop can use TappyQR.

How do I get paid when customers place orders and make payments via TappyQR?

We use Paystack to collect payments from customers on your behalf. You will need to connect to your Paystack account via your TappyQR account dashboard,  and we will send your funds from cart payments directly to your Paystack account immediately after you fulfilled your customers' orders. 

Do you take a commission on the orders placed by customers?

No, TappyQR does not take any commission from payments! 

Can you create my menu?

Yes, we offer this option through all our free and paid plans. Create or import your menu and start in no time via your TappyQR account dashboard once you login to your account. You also have the option to create categories for your menu.

Do you offer integration with POS systems?

Yes, TappyQR can be integrated with any POS system. We have the “Webhook” module in your dashboard, that triggers API calls when there is an order. Though each POS system may differ and may require extra effort from both sides to make it work. You are responsible for your own hardware including a receipt printer and any tablet you may want. Please send an email to [email protected] if the webhook is not working for you and we can help with your POS requirements.

How can I receive and manage my customers’ orders?

Our application allows you to receive and manage orders from within the web/app. And you can view and manage all the orders via your dashboard. as well.

Can I set my menu to another language?

Yes, you can set up your menu in your preferred language and let your customers choose the language  of their choice 

How can I  connect  TappyQR to my thermal/standard/kitchen printer?

  • Create an account in PrintNode.com and download their client.

  • Install the client and login with your user and pass.

  • Your printer should be connected and on power.

  • Print node will assign your printers an ID. 

  • Get the ID of your Thermal or Standard Printer and your API Key.

  • Login to your TappyQR account and go to your App menu inside the Restaurant menu.

  • Copy the printer ID and enter the ID in Main Thermal or Kitchen Thermal or Standard Printer ID.

  • Setup when you want the order to be printed out

Please send an email to [email protected] if you are unable to connect your thermal printer successfully.

Can I use the Contactless QR menu solution to manage more than one restaurant?

Yes, you can use the contactless QR menu solution to manage more than one restaurant. The number of restaurants to manage will depend on the package signed for. 

How can I point my subdomain to my custom domain?

Enter your custom domain name (e.g. xyz.com) into the Domain field in your restaurant dashboard. You can find the Domain field in your restaurant dashboard when you click on Restaurant > Apps.

Contact us for instructions on how to point your custom domain name 

Allow 24hrs for the propagation of the DNS to be completed and thereafter to check your custom domain name. If you have any issues, please contact us at [email protected]

Do you provide Menu Entry Support?

We understand that most restaurant owners are really busy with their work and don’t have the extra time to set up a new menu or enter sample descriptions for an item on the menu. Don’t worry, our support team will do it for you at no cost.
